CGFC (Performance group, Island)

I den banebrytende forestillingen Radio Activity presenterer gruppen CGFC det tradisjonelle radioteateret i ny drakt; som en form for live performance. Radio Activity er en blanding av levende scenografi og publikumsdeltakelse hvor publikum blir engasjert til å skape lydbilder og effekter. Kostymene blir strikket direkte på scenen – og radioteater som utspiller seg på scenen kringkastes direkte på radio.

Gruppen CGFC består av fire kunstnere: Birnir Jón Sigurðsson (22), dramatiker og skuespiller, Arnar Geir Gustafsson (22), regissør og skuespiller, Hallveig Kristín Eiríksdóttir (24), designer – og Ýr Jóhannsdóttir (23), tekstilkunstner.

In the groundbreaking performance “Radio Activity” CGFC revamps the traditional radio drama in a new costume: as a live performance. “Radio Activity” is a fusion of live scenography and audience participation where the audience is engaged in creating soundscapes and environmental effects. And while costumes are being knitted live on stage – an original radio drama is performed and broadcasted on live radio.

The group CGFC consists of four artists – Birnir Jón Sigurðsson (22), playwright and actor, Arnar Geir Gústafsson (22), director and actor, Hallveig Kristín Eiríksdóttir (24), space designer and Ýr Jóhannsdóttir (23), textile and visual balance artist.
